The land is always in conflict
As it stands
The fields of Marquet are always in conflict. Filled with the promise of riches in Mithril and battle, many races, armies and characters continue to advance and retreat over the land, all in the pursuit of personal fortune. The dragons are the bane of the world; with their hordes of Mithril they fly mightily over everyone and everything. However, these mighty beasts cannot hold their hordes forever though and eventually they will be slain. Those who kill them do so to capture their treasure and have a chance at getting one of the 8 legendary rings of power.
The 8 rings of power
Each time a dragon is killed in battle the character who slays them will receive one of the 8 rings of power. When the season ends these rings will be minted into an NFT and awarded to the character that is holding the item. The items will be valid in other Mithrilverse realms and apps that choose to support them. Rings will continue to pass between characters during the season as they are killed or take damage. Will the rings of power end up in the hands of a mighty wizard or the stomach of a hungry squirrel?

Races
Many beings, animals and beasts roam the plains, each in pursuit of personal fortune or an easy kill. The races represent a societal standing in the Mithrilverse, a place where fortune is everything. Be a lowly halfling to a mighty dragon. Even a wolf can be accepted into the clan of Elves if he is fortunate enough. Each race starts with their own unique item that will drop on death.
